A decade ago, Elle Crawford was looking for a way to get fit and lose weight. She found boxing…and loved it! After smashing her own personal fitness goals, Elle set out to help others do the same, and came up with the idea to open her own boxing studio.
Initially TBR was a women’s-only boxing gym, which five years later expanded to welcome men. Today TBR is a thriving fitness hub in Brighton, offering boxing, weights, Pilates, kettle bell and mums and bubs classes.
Meet the TBR trainers
Bruce’s favourite exercise at TBR is boxing and his favourite combo is Jab, Cross, Body Hook, Cross, Hook. The celebrity he’d most like to train is Kanye West – so he can give him lots of burpees!
As an exercise, JP favours The superman punch and he was drawn to TBR for the high intensity. He admires Stephen Hawking and his favourite movie is Fight Club. He’d also love to train Arnold Schwarzenegger!
Joel’s favourite TBR exercise is tricep extension dropsets & personal training. He joined TBR because he competes in kickboxing and loves fitness. He’d love to train The Rock or Floyd Mayweather.
Kayley’s favourite TBR exercises are wall sits and anything strength building. She loves any combo – 4 – 6 hard/fast punches. She most admires the 1970’s power lifter, Bev Francis and would love to train Arnold Schwarzenegger or Jason Statham.
Nat’s favourite exercises at TBR are plyometric lunges, roundhouse kicks and backfists. She loves TBR because of the high intensity classes and loves nothing more than sweating away the frustrations of her week. She’d love to train Kevin Hart or Gwen Stefani.
Lisa enjoys any strength exercise at TBR – especially dumbbell flies, bench presses & pushups. She also loves the intensity of Pilates, and the fast HIIT/Tabata pace of the boxing. If she could train with someone famous it would be Pink or Hugh Jackman.
