My name is Anne and I am 27 years old. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Adelaide about 1.5 years ago. I have been studying Patisserie for the last year, which quickly lead to becoming a member at TBR to counter act all the beautiful treats we made at school. I finished my studies to become a personal trainer 3 months ago and I’m looking forward to further develop my skills at The Boxing Room. Please feel free to ask any questions you have about fitness (or cake) and come have a chat with me when I’m around at the gym.
What’s your favourite exercise at TBR?
Roundhouse Kicks or clams during Pilates.
What drew you to TBR?
Finding a place where I can box without having to spar, especially against more experienced fighters. TBR welcomes everyone no matter what level of experience, which makes it easier to start out. I’m thankful to be able to be part of that.
What’s one of your favourite combos?
Any well flowing 6 punch combination during B.O.X.

Why try our boxing classes?

- In our classes you’re only competing with yourself. You work at your own pace, with your own bag. There’s no judgement – everyone’s way too busy doing their own thing to notice what your ability level is!
- It’s a safer option than using focus pads. Working with our equipment means nobody has to catch punches (a highly specialised skill to get right). And you can never get this kind of muscle workout from boxing drills with focus pads.
