Our Team

As a small boxing gym, we pride ourselves on knowing all of our members by name. Over the years, we have built-up a sociable and supportive fitness community, helping each other to grow and achieve our goals. Stick with us for long enough and you’ll feel like part of the family in no time. Until then, here’s a little bit about us to get you started.

Kayley punching a boxing bag

Kayley – Owner

Boxing, Strength + Conditioning, HIIT, Pilates & Personal Training

As a former competitive power lifter and current amateur boxer, Kayley thrives on discipline and self-improvement. While constantly pushing herself to new limits in her own training plan, Kayley also gets a kick out of helping her clients in reaching their personal goals.

JP swinging two kettlebells

JP – Manager

Boxing, Strength + Conditioning, HIIT, Kettlebell & Personal Training

You’re likely to find JP effortlessly throwing around two incredibly heavy kettlebells while everyone else watches on in awe, or flying towards the bags midway through his signature ‘Superman’ punch. He approaches his training with patience and resolve and brings that same attitude to all of his clients.

Bruce throwing a straight punch

Bruce

Boxing, Strength + Conditioning, HIIT & Personal Training

You know it’s Bruce’s class when you walk into the gym and can feel his music vibrating throughout the building. Don’t be fooled by the calm, gentlemanly demeanour, Bruce’s sessions are vigorous, high-energy (yes, even the warm up) and not to be missed.

Nat punching a boxing bag

Nat

Boxing, Strength + Conditiong & Personal training

Most people let out a discouraging groan when they walk into the studio for Nat’s class and see the sled or battle-ropes are set-up. The same mentality applies to running 15km covered in mud, which just happens to be her idea of a great weekend. While we promise you won’t get covered in mud during one of her sessions, you’re definitely going to end up sweating.

Lisa hitting a boxing bag

Lisa

Pilates

Lisa has this astonishing ability to hold a conversation, count to 45 seconds AND execute all of her exercises with perfect form every time, without seeming out of breath in the slightest. All the while, everyone else in class is convulsing on their mats in pain after completing more clams than they’d care to count.

“There is so much variety in the classes that I am always surprised and challenged. The staff and fellow boxers are always supportive, positive and welcoming to anyone no matter their fitness levels or background.”

– Alan, member since 2013
